NDSBMCP March Class Registration Open for Second-Year and Graduate Students

Registration is now open for the following ND School Business Manager Certification Program classes:

  • Bidding, Purchasing and Inventory (virtual March 18)
  • Human Resources II (virtual March 18)
  • Records Management and Retention (online on own)

These classes are being offered to both second-year students and graduate students.

To register for classes, go to https://www.ndsba.laventurellc.com/20210208165354. You will receive a confirmation email after registering.  If you need to modify your registration, click on the link that was provided to you in the registration confirmation or contact our office. Students new to the class(es) should only select the first three course options when registering.  Students retaking the class(es) for continuing education credit should register for course option either four, five or six.

The virtual training will be held via Zoom on March 18. You will also need to register for the Zoom training in advance of the meeting date.  You will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting after registering.  Go to https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJIkdOCtrjkpHdUxcXEl2MPJJXrYYDoDZ1LY to register for the Zoom meetings.

Attendance is required for students taking the virtual classes for the first time.  Contact me immediately if you have a conflict with the class dates.  Students retaking the class for credit can view it with the rest of the class or request the recording to view at a later date.

Registered students will be sent instructions on how to access the course materials and the online course, Records Management and Retention, on or before March 17.

Students retaking a class for continuing education credit will receive a discounted rate and can earn up to 1.5 credits per course. To receive credit, students will need to submit a paragraph to me at rebecca.duben@ndsba.org on what they learned from retaking the class. Students will be given six months to view the class recording(s) and complete the writing assignment. They do not need to complete the class assignment.

Payment can be made via credit card or check. Mail payment to North Dakota School Business Manager Certification Program, P.O. Box 7128, Bismarck, ND 58507-7128.  All course fees are due prior to the course start date unless the student makes alternative arrangements with me.
