March Credit Opportunities

ESSER Training for Business Managers

The NDDPI will be hosting a virtual training for business managers to discuss ESSER I funding. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (CST). We will discuss the new requirements regarding capital expenses, as well as other topics pertaining to ESSER spending. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the training. NDSBMCP students can receive 1/2 credit for attending the virtual DPI ESSER Training for Business Managers on Thursday, March 11 from 11 – 12 p.m.  Complete the Affiliate/Continuing Education Credit Form and submit to me at rebecca.duben@ndsba.org to receive credit.  Include the credit name, date of credit, credit available, your signature and the date you signed.  I will verify for the event staff section on the form.

Business Manager Q & A

The NDDPI will begin hosting Teams meetings for WebGrants external user questions and training. The first meeting will be on Wednesday, March 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. CDT.

  • Please email Shauna Greff with questions by March 16
  • There will be time after emailed questions are answered for any additional questions
  • Questions should be regarding:
  • General fiscal (UGG) guidance
  • NDFARMS Coding
  • Technical WebGrants

We will not go through specific program allowability as those questions should be directed to program managers.

NDSBA Lunch and Learn – March 17

NDSBMCP students can receive ½ credit for attending or viewing the recording for the March 17, 12 – 1 p.m., NDSBA Lunch and Learn webinar.  Superintendent Baesler will lead an Innovative Education Panel made up of three panelists.  The panelists are Susie Carlson (Northern Cass), Sonia Meehl (Oakes), and Patti Stedman (West Fargo).

The goal of the panel is to try to understand the board-level discussions that took place when the panelists district’s were looking into/decided to make the move to more innovative models, what questions or concerns they had as board members, what questions or concerns their communities had (and how they answered those), and what they’ve learned/if they’d make any changes, etc.

Complete the Affiliate/Continuing Education Credit Form and submit to me at rebecca.duben@ndsba.org to receive credit.  Include the credit name, date of credit, credit available, your signature and the date you signed.  I will verify for the event staff section on the form.  There is no deadline to complete for these webinars.
