5th Human Resources Conference for Local Governments

REGISTER today for Building HR Together   –  The 5th Human Resource Conference for Local Governments will be held on  April 18 and 19, 2018 at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck.   Registration is available at http://www.hrndgov.org/.    Please share with others in your organization that could be interested in HR issues.

This conference offers many great presentations on both technical HR issues/rules/policies and sessions on how to empower employees and supervisors to strengthen the work environment.

New at this year’s conference will be three panel discussions on emerging HR issues local governments are facing.   The first will be a discussion on how to assess and develop high quality HR Services.   Practical tools will be shared.   The second panel will focus on the complex process of FLSA Exempt and Non-Exempt classification.   HR staff from both the schools and counties will share their practices for evaluating positions and examples of difficult situations that they have addressed.   At the end of the conference, a third session will be an open ended HR questions and answers.  This is your time to bring any specific concerns that haven’t been addressed.

Remember to register on this website to get regular HR updates http://www.hrndgov.org/

You can receive 2.0 credits for attending both days.

To receive affiliate credits, students must attend the Human Resources Conference, have the Affiliate Credit Slip signed by an event sponsor at the end of the conference, and return it to Patty VerDouw at the NDSBA.
